DAY TRIP FROM MARRAKECH TO KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU

The most stunning and well-preserved Kasbah in Morocco is Ait Ben Haddou, which is actually more of a group of smaller Kasbahs. The fortified hilltop settlement of Ait Ben Haddo Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was on the ancient caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara in the 14th century. At 9:00 a.m., we will depart from Marrakech to begin our day journey to Ait ben Haddou Kasbahs by taking the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, which passes North Africa’s tallest peak. We will be able to see the chain’s summits as well as the picturesque traditional Berber towns that line the road during this day trip. 

We will arrive in the fortified Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site, where we will explore and enjoy the allure of its lovely Kasbahs. It’s a mysterious place, and the Kasbah is especially lovely at sunrise or sunset. Here, you may climb up to the fortified granary’s ruins for breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and go for a quick stroll around the village and along the river. 

Then, we proceed to Ouarzazate, which is the southern gateway to the Sahara desert and the center of Sahara desert tourism. Here, we will see the Taourirt Kasbah, a magnificent structure that gives you the opportunity to see inside a genuine historic Kasbah and take in Moroccan architecture. 

Each person must pay an admission fee of 2 euros or 20 dirhams. We take a car back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
